Our best savings can be found for many of the spectacular Broadway shows that we host at DPAC. For most Broadway performances, there are a variety of ways to save from 10% to 65% on select seats.

 

DPAC for All

 

Special Savings for City of Durham Residents 

  • Inspired by Durham’s great community leader MaryAnn Black, DPAC has reserved select seating starting at $15 + taxes per ticket, exclusively for residents of Durham.​​​​​​
  • These savings can be found on most Broadway shows plus some concerts, comedy shows, special events and holiday programming.
  • Savings can range from 25% to 75%.
  • City of Durham Resident tickets must be purchased in person at the Blue Cross NC - Ticket Center at DPAC, located at 123 Vivian Street. 
  • Durham residents should ask for DPAC for All tickets for this special offer.
  • Tickets will be available until one month before each event, while supplies last.

DPAC Digital Lottery

 

A limited number of discounted tickets will be sold for most Broadway performances via DPAC's official digital lottery.
 

  • Lottery Discounted Pricing: Varies per show from $20 to $35 per seat  (+ taxes).
  • Savings can range from 70% to 90%.
  • Ticket Limit: Two (2) per winner.
  • Seat Locations: Locations vary per performance. Discounted seats available via this online lottery will include some pairs of seats, but most will be individual seats not located adjacent to each other. In some cases, seats may be labeled limited view which means there may be limited view of some parts of stage.
  • Registration begins: The day before the performance at 9:00 AM.
  • Entries Close: The day before the performance at 2:00 PM.
  • Drawing Time: The lottery closes the day prior to the registered performance, and at that time, entrants will be notified via email within minutes as to whether they have won or not.
  • Winner Purchase Deadline: If you are selected as a winner, you have 60 minutes to pay for your tickets. Seats are assigned at the discretion of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina - Ticket Center at DPAC and cannot be transferred to other people or performances.

Student Seats

 

  • Most Broadway shows at DPAC offer discounted seating for students.
  • Savings can range from 20% to 75%.
  • Students of all ages are eligible to purchase up to two tickets at the discounted rates.
  • Student priced seats are located in a variety of locations, but most often are in the last rows of the Balcony or Grand Tier.
  • Savings are often up to 50% when compared to adjacent seating.
  • To purchase, you can visit Blue Cross NC - Ticket Center at DPAC at 123 Vivian Street in Durham, call DPAC at 919.680.2787 or go online to www.dpacnc.com.
  • All Student tickets purchased will be available for pick-up at Blue Cross NC - Ticket Center at DPAC starting two hours before the performance and require a current student ID for pick-up.
  • Student tickets start at $20 (+taxes) for most Broadway shows and quantities are limited so purchase early for best selection.

Military / First Responders

 

  • As a thank you for your service, bring your Military ID, Fire, or Law Enforcement ID to the Blue Cross NC - Ticket Center at DPAC and receive special pricing for most Broadway shows.
  • Save 10% on shows with special pricing.

  • Military personnel may also have the opportunity to purchase tickets online. Contact your base benefits office for details.   • Group Services at DPAC is your connection to savings of 10% to 15%  for most Broadway performances.
